Pitch 101 Workshop

ABOUT

This one-day workshop, designed specifically for folks who are not really familiar with pitching, will introduce you to the "nuts & bolts" of the pitching process. You'll learn how to answer the important questions being asked, how to approach your concept with focus and intention, and how to bring your authentic self to the process.

Each participant will have the opportunity to do an initial pitch, a re-pitch, and then putting into practice all that was learned in the day.

This intimate and interactive workshop will host a maximum of 11 participants.

Each participant must come to the workshop with a concept/idea to pitch.

No scripts are necessary.

This program will be taught IN PERSON ONLY.

ELIGIBILITY

This program is designed for entry-level or emerging content creators/producers who are ready to start pitching their projects. This is a "beginner" or "introductory" program; participants are expected to have some industry experience so that they can take full advantage of the workshop and hit the ground running. 

You will need to submit a synopsis of a proposed project which you will be actively workshopping during this program. Eligible projects for discussion include TV/web series, short, or feature-length films. All genres accepted.

 

INSTRUCTOR

Marina Cordoni

Marina Cordoni is an experienced professional with a demonstrated history of success in the Entertainment Industry. Skilled in Business Planning and Development, Script/Story Development, Project Financing, Project Management, On Set Production, Distribution, Promotion, and Industry Event/Conference Planning. Marina has hands-on practical experience in creating and implementing strategic models that help companies to build profile and revenue. Her superior communication skills help her to navigate challenging waters and find new solutions for old problems. She provides these services both in house and as an Industry Consultant for hire. Marina has a Diploma in Film Production and Certification as a Communications Trainer and Facilitator.
